Frilled Neck Lizard

The frilled-neck lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii) is a large, primarily arboreal species native to northern Australia and southern New Guinea. Named for the foldable frill around its neck, it feeds on insects and small vertebrates and is the sole member of its genus. Reaching about 85 cm in length, it is also kept as an exotic pet.
