Chrysanthemum Blossom
Chrysanthemums are flowering plants in the genus Chrysanthemum of the Asteraceae family, native to Asia and northeastern Europe, with most species originating in East Asia, especially China. They include many horticultural varieties and cultivars. Wild species are herbaceous perennials or subshrubs with alternately arranged, toothed or smooth leaves. Their flower heads may be solitary or clustered, with white, yellow, or red ray florets and yellow disc florets. The fruit is a ribbed achene.
