Palm

Arecaceae, commonly known as palm trees, is a family of flowering plants in the order Arecales containing about 202 genera and around 2,600 species. Most palms grow in tropical and subtropical regions and are recognized by their large evergreen leaves arranged at the top of an unbranched stem. Palms are highly diverse in form and habitat, ranging from rainforests to deserts. They are widely cultivated for food, products, and landscaping, and have long symbolized victory, peace, and fertility in many cultures
