Catharanthus Roseus




Catharanthus roseus is an evergreen subshrub native to Madagascar. It grows up to about 1 m tall with glossy green leaves and flowers that range from white to dark pink with a red center. Though endangered in the wild due to habitat destruction, it is widely cultivated and naturalized in many tropical and subtropical regions.
